Creative Creations - lets get messy with KennyK

Hey guys - Over at Creative Creations we have a Sketch Theme and are sponsored by the fab KennyK - we have some great images to work with, and when I saw this one I knew it was time to get messy!

I was really keen to use some spray mists for the first time, unfortunately i didnt receive all the colours i had ordered in time, so ended up taking a brush and some acrylic paint and making a good old mess, along with the one Midnight Blue cosmic shimmer mist i did receive - i really wanted this to look messy and like my craft desk tends to look after each project, and wanted to stick with a blue/green colour theme

More images below, coloured with my Promarkers, sprayed using Midnight Blue Cosmic Shimmer Mist, some random acrylic paint, plain cardstock, some paper flowers from my stash and some green flower washi tape and a few blobs of blue Stickles

Dreaming about the start of DDCC!

Hey gang, hopefully this shall be the last 'non project' post from me for a while, I have some great projects coming up... I just wanted to mention very quickly my excitement about our opening over at Dreamtime Designs!

We will officially be open for our first unique challenge on 1st October, you really won't want to miss our first challenge, there's some serious hype and sneak peeks going on over with my DT sisters - we won't even see each others projects until the blog goes live! How exciting!

Sneaky peek?!

Hey gang! It's all go on the craft front!

As you all know I was chosen alongside some fantastic ladies to be apart of DDCC  

I'm slowly working on what I consider to be a real ambitious image for the first unique challenge over at DDCC

Alongside that I'm having lots of fun with an image more in my comfort zone for my other DT position over at CCC 

I thought I'd show my face a little while these works are in progress and give a little glimpse, hopefully nothing is too revealing hence using some out of focus shots ;)

I hope you will join me over at DDCC in Oct 1 to hear what our fantastic unique new challenge is, and play along, my DT sisters and I are raring to go and spy on your beautiful projects!

I know some of my sisters are dying to know what we're all up to, but there's certainly some secrets going around too, and here is part of mine:

The excitement builds at DDCC!

Hey fellow bloggerooo's!

I haven't posted anything for a while but I do have some projects in the making so watch this space! 

One of my projects in the making couldn't be more different from any other challenge I've taken part In or designed for and I'm so excited!

 

My DT sisters and I have been given our first challenge over at DreamTime Designs ready for the big opening on Oct 1st and we've all be bouncing around and sharing ideas for such a unique take on a challenge blog! I'm just as excited to see what my sisters come up with as I am about what I'm going to create myself!

Really, if your looking for a challenge blog like no other, with some unique ideas and fantastic support, comments on the creations you submit that are really personal to your creations and genuinely come from the heart, then head on over and play along with us! It's such a fun and unique ride were all in for and I personally can't wait!!

Kitty Bee - Mid-inspiration

Hey - we still have our babies challenge running over at Kitty Bee - why not have a go?? im here to share some inspiration for the babies challenge:

Whats better than one card? two of course! I mean come on, how on earth can you make one card, what if its for a boy? what if its for a girl? well, I have it covered ;)

Using my portrait to cut the card template i backed each of them with coordinating paper, added the gorgeous Kitty Bee bunny and some other 'scrap' cuts i had laying around, a sentiment for each and some hemp twine tied around a cute little button

A dream come true at DreamTime Designs

Hey blog fans!

Only a quick post from me as still have some work in progress to show later

Here goes.... I have made it onto the absolutely fantastic DreamTime Designs DT!! 

Well it was one of those applications you put in, just with the highest of hopes, I never thought I'd be picked by such a super talented artist such as Lisa herself! 

And now I'm lucky enough to be working alongside some equally talented DT ladies - i am on cloud 9 right bow and feel really challenged and ready to up my game!

Early Christmas with Creative Creations Challenges and Floppy Latte

Im here today to share some real exciting news that i made the fabby DT over at Creative Creations Challenges

Im here for our fab Early Christmas Challenge and for this we are sponsored by the lovely Floppy Latte

The DT and myself were given some very 'christmas' images to work with, I cant say it was easy getting into the Christmas groove so early, it scared me to think about christmas! lol but it was fun taking on a new challenge. Go ahead and pop over to CCC for a chance to win Floppy Latte's $6 Voucher!

Heres my take on this challenge, using Floppy Latte's Holly Candle 

For this design i also used Floppy Latte's Winter digi paper pack, which took the hard work out of coordinating paper - which is fine by me! 

I coloured the image using my Promarkers and cut using my Portrait, along with the sentiment, i added some beads from The Ribbon Girl and a few paper flowers topped with a simple button

One of my fave elements of this is the embossed and inked PP, i ran through my texture boutique and then lightly used a sponge and my Tim Holtz distress ink to pick out the embossed parts - i really loved the effect!

I added some silver shimmer ink to the sentiment which looks lovely and shiny
